Physical Restoration Defined:
The act of bringing back something that existed before, a restoring to an unimpaired or improved condition. Physical Restoration & Sports Medicine uses the knowledge and insight of therapists to minimize or remove the compensatory responses of the body to daily activity. Often, this inherent compensatory activity gets in the way of full function and/ or recovery of the body from stress and injury. We treat a wide range of injuries and ailments, from ankle sprains and lumbar pain to shoulder and rotator cuff injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. With a long history of education, training, and research. We seek to minimize the time from, providing an optimal state for recovery. This means “getting you back, getting you better.” For an injured athlete, it is ensuring a thorough, safe, and quick recovery. For the non-athlete, it means a quicker, thorough recovery, minimizing the debilitation. It is about “finding” your place and being on the journey to regain it.

After initial training and certification as an athletic trainer, involving 5 years in minor league baseball, Marc graduated in 1987 from the Temple University physical therapy program. He has been practicing in Sterling since 1990 and involving himself in the local high school athletic programs. While his recent research has followed a focus on the injured throwing arm, he treats not only a wide range of competitive and recreational athletes but has restored the function of countless spine, lower extremity, and jaw injuries. He takes an integrated approach, appreciating the “interconnectedness of the human body and its demands for mobility, function, and movement utilizing neuromuscular reeducation and strengthening to restore lost normal function.
Marc lives in Ashburn Farm with his wife and dog Abby while his two children pursue their post-collegiate careers.

Leslie Rudacille
Practice Administrator
Leslie started working for Marc in 2000. She first started out her career as an Accounts Receivable Manager and was then promoted to her current position as Practice Administrator. Leslie’s position includes accounts receivables, medical billing, office management, and filling in when needed at the front desk and in the gym.
Leslie travels from Winchester, VA, three days a week and works from home the other two. She lives with her 5 cats and a dog. When she is not working, Leslie enjoys spending time with her daughter and son-in-law. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading.

Office Assistant
Nrinder has been happily employed at Physical Restoration and Sports Medicine since 2014. Nrinder keeps things running smoothly with a smile—whether she’s managing busy front desks, sorting out billing mysteries, or keeping schedules in perfect sync. With a career spanning healthcare, banking, and accounting, she’s basically a one-woman operations powerhouse. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her happily immersed in Korean TV dramas or jet-setting to new corners of the world, always chasing the next great view—or episode!

Fluffy
Office Manager
Fluffy has been a staple at the office since the summer of 2024. She is the Practice Administrator's beloved dog. Fluffy is 14 years old and started coming to the office because she had injured her left hip and knee and couldn’t be left alone at home. Since then, with help from Marc, she has healed perfectly. Because everyone adores her, she continues coming to the offices 3 days a week. She has her own spot in her mom’s office with a bed and treats. She enjoys sleeping, head rubs, and the occasional walk around the office complex. You can find Fluffy curled up most days, taking a nap or following her mom around the gym.
